ABOUT KEVIN CROCKETT

Hailing from Washington D.C., Kevin Crockett is an accomplished guitarist and composer. He grew up in a musical household as his father played the guitar and his mother played choir music on a regular basis. Kevin used to sneak and play his father’s guitar until he was given his own. His home was always filled with music. Kevin was exposed to a wide variety of music from gospel to R&B to pop and rock. Around the age of 10, Kevin started playing bass in a gospel quartet group founded by his father. His musical influences include guitarists Wes Montgomery, Howard Carroll (Dixie Hummingbirds), Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Allan Holdsworth.
Kevin not only played with quartet groups in the D.C. area but joined several bands as well. After graduating from high school Kevin moved to Boston, Massachusetts after being accepted to the Berklee College of Music where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Production and Engineering and was awarded the Music Scholar Award during his studies.
Kevin resides with his wife in North Carolina and is a member of World Overcomers Christian Church and also serves as lead guitarist on the praise and worship team. As an international recording artist and performer Kevin has performed/recorded with: Marcel Anderson, Marcus Anderson, Collective Groove Band, Willie Bradley, Reggie Codrington, Eric Darius, George Freeman, Jazmin Ghent, Jeannette Harris, Marqueal Jordan and Kim Scott.
